Description:
Here is another I am seeking advice on. It is an old analogue recording I found - and don't quite no where to go with it (if at all). For those of you that have listened to my 'alt' stuff, you will have noticed that I use a lot of water/ocean imagery. It's something to do with a past life and my serial dreams. This one has various phases that represent the oceans. Let me know what you think.
Lyrics:
Hydrostatic dreamsCrystalline the ocean
Swimming in the seams
Healing with the motion
Hydrostatic dreams
I’m whirling through the currents of your anger
Spinning through the torrents of your pain
Can this force of iron pull us asunder
Braced against the arrows of the rain
I see your body wracked upon the sand-dunes
Feel the quiver of your body cold
Can I swim the distance of our fortunes
This torrid sea won’t release its hold
Feel my duress – blind
Clawing for you – hope
Fighting for shore – can
Reversing the tide – save
Reversing the tide
Hold me while I breath
In your arms I weave
Hold me while I breath
In your arms I weave
Black world of the deep
Arrest me in my sleep
Black world of the deep
Crystalline the ocean
Swimming in the seams
Healing with the motion
Hydrostatic dreams
Hydrostatic dreams

i too have an affinity with water element, and this one is like the effect of rushing water on rocks....they end up beautiful and smooth from all the motion and friction. :)
LunaTrick
Thanks for listening to my music. My next one will be in Swedish...
Well, I wish!
kassia
this is an almost flawless mix. great job. I loved all the different vox and effects. cool tune, lots of fun. I loved the tribal drums.
LunaTrick
Not flawless by any stretch... but if you like it then I've achieved something with it!
magnatone
This is SO COOL!! My total fave of everything you've posted so far - really creative, interesting. Grabs you, takes you in, doesn't let go. VERY COOL!!
LunaTrick
It somewhat surprises me that you like this the best... but I'll take it. Perhaps you like it because it features more guitar work than my other pieces.
stratcat
cool background guitar licks. Nice beat. Great job LT
LunaTrick
Strattin' my style a bit. Have to listen to your strattin' now Stratcat!

In the first..like.. 1/4 of the song there's a uprising, then directly after I felt like I had lost my hearing, then realized I hadn't when I could still hear. How did you do the vocals? They sound very...streamlike.

LunaTrick
...some groovy secret behind it.. but it was probably the result of a cheap mic in a closet somewhere... perhaps on a rainy day. Thanks for your kind comments!
track Luna much enjoyed...
LunaTrick
Stick around here more... your music is cool!
stevel
Love the guitar work...the vocals actually remind me a bit of Dean from Galaxie 500 and ....Luna
Really cool track

totally twisted, i love it. i've always been a huge fan of bands like Can and i could almost picture them doing this. no genre for this one, it's great.
LunaTrick
I can live with the comparison... I love so much "Kraut Rock" (although it is an awful phrase!). Thanks Michael!
Char
you. Great genre to embrace all that you do so well from the writing to to instrumentation to the clips to the singing. Very rich. Thanks.

At the time I first discovered your music I must have been a fanaholic with a comment phobia. Sorry about that.
I know nobody else who can get so much texture and variety and originality into a song and still make it sound like it all belongs together. Not to mention your lyric skills. Very clever you are. Immersed in your healing crystalline oceans.
