it does sound sort of spacey. You asked for suggestions... perhaps, if this is a space ride, that low "chuff-chuff-chuff..." sound that shows up in the piece, could be softened a bit (it is really loud in headphones), and used as sort of an "engine-thrust" sound to rhythmically propel the listener through the piece... just let it slowly build and fade across the whole length of the piece, and never let it get too loud. There's some crackly distortion at the very beginning, you may have some tracks going into the red? I like the vox-melody... maybe give this whole thing a teeny bit of echo, to make it more spacious. And of course, come up with a second part and alternate between this and the second part to make the whole thing longer without getting too repetitious. Those are some random ideas. Give them a try. I REALLY appreciate your constructive feedback. I had no idea about the volume on the 'chuff', will tone it down and on the distortion. I will give it a look-see.

I am currently working on the second part and should have the new version posted soon. Your suggestions have really helped me to focus on what the piece needs.

Hey, this starts really promising. Please make it longer.

I'll disagree with Drakonis about the chugging sounds: on speakers it's not obnoxious at all. In general I like the sounds you're using. That vocal sample in particular is really sweet.
