Description
I made a beat about a week ago and sent it to Nightshade Syndicate, he played with and added some stuff and posted it as Binary Vomit. His was more downbeat sounding. I still had the beat around and decided to try and make a dub song from it. I really love dub but have never tried to do it. I almost hesitate to put it under the dub genre as the drums are just weird, but i did put a reggae bass line over it. it should probably go under experimental, but my wife heard me doing it and just thought i was listening to "your crazy dub music."
The vox are from the freesound project, and in keeping with "dub not dub" concept, I used a field recording of a turkish man singing on a boat. I liked his voice and was able to work it into the song somehow. heres the freesound attribution:
