Description
I've been doing quite some songs this year, but haven't felt that they did go anywhere, had anything in them - but this one I feel has potentials. What do you think?

Lyrics
I could have
I could have seen Marianne Faithful, but ended up in a circus tent.
I had sex with a gothic beauty, I don't even remember her name.
We were brave. I remember that the times were insane.
Immortal good-looking girls and horny little boys.
As if these were the times we turned our page.
I could have been a painter, but I switched the colors for words.
So, I still call myself a painter; it's what you are in the eyes of your world.
Sometimes one needs to burn to find its oblivion.
I remember a night in the studio in front of a golden rooster with an accordion on my dying chest.
I was proud leaving mothers crest.
I could have stayed at home, I know, but there were never a good reason not to move on.
I always wanted to look ahead; and see there was a road, and then...a curtain.
Life is never that certain when is dead.
Curiosity killed the cat, but the cat had a noble death.
I should know, because I've already lived my nine and more.
I could have, I would have, I should have, I could have;
renounced my long-life blues.
I would have, I should have, announced:
some weird foolish truth.
I could have seen Nick Cave live back then – so what, opportunities will come back again.
I have the tickets for a NYC show, se we're going, we're going down. We're going to see the King arouse the old crowd. We are going to sing along.
In our revolution.
I could have have stayed around for a long time, but I was too young and too high on life.
I was running on the lovers field, always in love, always in my dreams.
I left it all behind, through my book into the fire, and watched it burn with desire.
I am older now and speak about biology.
I find pleasure in thoughts and in my own history.
I could have shot you with a broken arrow, but I was too scared to aim.
I awoke at the priests place, neglected the great invention, and still does today.
I am larger than Jesus and will always be.
Gods and fairies, they're all the same; a dream within the dream.
I could have, I would have, I should have, I could have;
renounced my long-life blues.
I would have, I should have, announced;
some weird foolish truth.
