It's a good experiment Daniel.
It makes a pleasant change from your other uploads.
Take care.

I thought you might appreciate this. Experimentation is your M.O.
I love these sounds, could be an intro for a Rock/ Psychedelic song... Cool!!
LunaTrick
But I wanted it to have a spoken word effect as well... sort of anti-poetry!
Fourth Window
wacky and so dam freacky and cool must of been in that kind of mood
love the if only you efect
great job
LunaTrick
In that mood quite often - so look out for future absurdities my friend.
Thanks for listening!

Wow - quite a divergence for you Luna! Very interesting - I kind of wish it was a bit longer - kept my attention, cool experimentation!
LunaTrick
I wanted it to be long enough to pip the curiosity - but not too long to the point where people get fed up.

I'm a big fan of drone-based tunes and there's some nice sounds weaving in and out of this one. It's self-contained but would work well as the opening passage of a much longer and more elaborate piece too.
LunaTrick
As compatriots of drone... I must go and check out more of your stuff.

Lunatrick, this reminds me of Dark Side of the Moon. I agree with Magnatone, it could be longer and developed further. You've got potential in this; it could go several directions and be successful, I think.

Always flattering to be rendered as Floydian! See my comment to Karen about the length - but I take your point!

very nice experiment indeed.

...story here: "If only you could wake up." Without knowing the context, it's hard to comment on the message. But it feels like the whole composition could evoke a lengthy passage of time in a psychological drama. Your percussive counterpoint is so complex and interesting...and it stresses me so. Perhaps that's what you wanted. You have "struck a chord" to be sure. Nice going.
Peace.

Not sure if there is a definite context... other than the general public is asleep in terms of political and humanitarian issues. I suppose it can mean what you want it to... much of our culture is lobotomized by meaningless entertainment and the soporiphic drug of comfort!

Cool sounds. Maybe some explanation of where they come from?
LunaTrick
The sounds were taken from a very cheap casio keyboard ran through various guitar pedals. I do a lot of weird things like that - toy pianos, pots and pans, etc.
Epileptic Gibbon
I could use this for the Halloween edition of my podcast show?
LunaTrick
I have a lot of 'halloween' music - so stay tuned...

Just saying.... But, I can't do this. Put a couple of these together and it could be presented on stage. I heard some experimental music like this many moons ago, in Colorado Springs. I got lost in it and really didn't want to wake up.
Thank you.
