I wrote this song awhile ago after watching a video of my son when he was 10 months old giving me a flower. I hope he makes a song for his son one day, to show him the blessing he's been. God,love,Children, Music, and Sports,not only saved my life but also helped to make me a better man.

Yeah it's an emotional song for me for sure, just the inspiration behind the song had me fighting them back ;)

Aweee its beautiful. I can hear Stevie Wonder also. Wow!! I love his music too. You sang this extremely heart felt song wonderfully.
I have lots of old cassette recorded tapes of my kids when they were about 5 and 6 singing and playing the flute they are 25 and 27 now and I cry tears of joy when I hear them. I have lots of great memories also.

Our children do make us grow old, but they certainly make our parental lives worthwhile. What a wonderful unconditional gift to give to your son.
Great singing and choice of lyrics, and no better sentiment in the world. I am sure your son will grow up to have the same love and sentiments for his children.

I too have some short recordings of my two children when they were very young... I keep converting the files to newer formats so I can still read them :-)

A very special tune. Great vocals - the background vox are very nice. I love the underlying acoustic guitar track - sounds great surrounded by the beats and electric guitar. Beautiful, powerful song. Thank you for sharing this with us - your son is very lucky to have his dad write music like this for him.

Love the overall feel of this and the sentiment runs true. I wish you'd posted the lyrics for us old timers that are a bit deaf from too much loud music over the years, but it's still in ther I can hear just enough to catch it.

Good job, good lyrics, a lot of sensitivity combined with a mellow liveliness, which makes it passionate and honest, but not lively. You've got a good thing going though!
