Description
I'm very pleased to welcome back 4 of my internet music buddies from another site for a tune of which I'm really proud. I've collaborated with each of these artists before (and they've collab'ed with each other in various combinations), so in a way, it was a comfortable gathering of friends working on this track. I mention this because each of their performances were so integral to the song being what it is, and our past history of making music together no doubt helped the project along. Each collab is its own experience, but this one will always stick out to me as one that had wild evolutionary leaps each time one of these artists contributed to the song. I think you'll agree each of them did just an amazing job on their tracks.

(jkane's words: In 2007 I witnessed the near destruction of a beautiful person, that in my opinion, deserved only joy and happiness. I knew little of her family and her life but always felt she had grace and kindness. I later learnt
that she and her husband were closely tied to their faith and church. This family has had another serious set back that I cannot elaborate on but I was so incensed by their misfortune that I had to write about it.
I tried to imagine what was going on in the mind of her husband. Here was a man that did everything right. I saw him almost every day and he never had a scowl or the look of defeat on his face. It was then that I got the words for this song and quickly realized that I couldn't behave like that. I would have sunk into a dark rage and would have gladly invited the world to be damned with me.)
A fate like mine

burning inside
and what I can't abide
is seeing my true, my true love
cut down in her prime.
I can embrace
the maker's plan for me
and I can accept
that we are mortal beings

I like this song a lot. I'm a big fan of Orchestrated Metal songs and this is a perfect example of this style. Great work as always from you my friend!
