Im getting sick of the way the countries being run . There is only one thing to do when this government no longer works for the people but instead exploits and puts there future in harms way......Revolution !

yes, yes, ******* yes, loving this. Great track frenchy, out spoken and political, mixes of Bush blend as good food for thought and the quote from the Declaration of Independence is very empowering. Myself being Canadian might not relate on the exact same level when considering the gov't but doesn't matter. I think the problem with revolutions is forgetting the revolution . People become complacent in there comfortable lives until it effects them directly . We must wake up to the fact that china will soon be the world power and america will be a thing of history books . I enjoy not working like a dog is a fabric factory for no pay . If we do not take control of the "rich" in this country and start internalizing and making American product again you might as well strap on the corporate chains right now . I remember feeling a terrible sense of 'WTF...?' when Bush took the second election in 04. (Note I don't say 'win'...) The fact that there are STILL people out there who believe Bush et all is 'doing a good job' and 'keeping America strong' both sadden and enrage me. They have NO idea what the strength of America has been built on through history, what made America a beacon of hope for people whose countries were genuine nightmares of fear and sudden, terrible and secret violence.
As a Canadian living in the USA I have a deep fondness, like most Canadians, of this crazy, loud and colourful country that wears its scars for all to see, helps those who don't deserve it and genuinely tries, most days, to find a way to reach the improbable ideals it sets for itself. Sadly, Bush's reign has not been among those days, and seeing this country I feel so protective of turning darker and crueller is like watching an old friend succumbing to darkness.

That's what I've always loved about your lyrics - you don't pull your punches - you remind us of the issues that some would like to sweep under the rug - and you do it in a way that holds our attention reminding us that nothing changes unless we all stand up together and say "Enough" with our votes. Too many people complain that nothing changes, then they sit home on election day thinking one vote more or less doesn't matter - it does matter - enough of those votes all together can change "business as usual". : ) [ Reply to This ]
