what a delightful tune! this is wonderful - a great mix, whatever changes you made are perfect (the bass line is great but seemed a little loud in my headphones). Great vocals and very catchy tune. Thanks for sharing this! I like it a lot!

Good point...maybe I focused too much on bass part, but when I listen on my iPod and in-ear headphones, the bass seems sort of quiet. I mix all my stuff on speakers and almost never on headphones, and most of the time I listen on headphones, it is on my iPod. There's probably something else that I don't like about this version, but it's driving me crazy! I know I will remix it again but I think of all the songs I've worked on lately, I've worked on this one the longest.

Again, wonderful vocals, nice chord changes, easily flow of thoughts and music, very pleasing writing. The drums sound forced with too frequent and complex fills. I'd prefer a shuffle feel, more simply stated and more country. I like the simplicity of version 2 halftime mix. But I love how you tinker, to hear how minot changes affect other perceptions.
