Lyrics
They say ol' Robert Johnson,
made a deal for his soul that day,
mystery at the crossroads,
what's the price that he has to pay?

Lonely in his world,
without a moment to delay,
for his freedom, fortune, and glory,
He began to play...

The devil heard his cries,
& took him under his wing,
For this was the chosen sound,
That made even old satan sing...

Take me down to the crossroads now,
maybe you'll find us there,
Where all our hopes and dreams,
are buried by shame & fear....

I've not
A clue who Robert Johnson is or was, but I think your song and lyrics are excellent. I love the treatment with double vocals and the expression in the way you sang them. I also love the arrangement and the instruments. It does have a strange sound to it and you've matched the slightly eerie 'feel' perfectly with those story like lyrics, good song and good work well thought out and performed, regards M
