For the lead effect I was just doing volume swells using the volume knob on the strat, with some delay added to the overall sound

i think it's "just right" but I can picture it with an organ as well. you did a really cool job with the volume swells (and the vox, drums, rhythm and composition too). great job. really liked the little chord change you used for the end. for some reason i hear your songs and wonder how come you didn't tour with Morphine. would have made a great bill. Love the swells on the lead. Bass sounding more up front than previous posts, although the bass player could still use some volume.
