Lyrics:
I’m Really Not HereI once threw it all away, couldn’t take it anymore
I tried to start it up again, but I couldn’t find the door
Somebody turned to me; I couldn’t see her face
Just like the time I find when I had a little space
You can see me
You can hear me
But I’m really not here
What lurks behind those circles in the middle of his eyes?
Does he have a place to go when he wants to hide?
Wondering, wondering what’s he doing here
Wondering, wondering what‘s he doing here
You can see me
You can hear me
But I’m really not here

a great collaboration - love the song David - Vic's 'sound' is obvious too! Very polished.

I agree. Very Holmanesque, I must say.
Thanks Pete.

rockin'! right from that opening fill. reminds me of something Crazy Horse would do. great guitars, cool progression, and a spirited vocal performance. outstanding collab!

Your last one was tremendous. Loved it. Thanks for stopping by and commenting on this one. Always appreciate your words.
I always wanted to have that name, "Crazy Horse". I think that is one of the coolest names for a band. Curse Neil.

Love the bass sound. A really nice song with a sweet melody, well performed and delightfully Vicified.
MacJams collaboration is a joyous thing.
lavalamp
Definitely vicified. Glad to see you around here. Always like your stuff. Glad you liked this and thanks.
LL
Great song, happy to hear a new song from you both again. Loved the work very much, one of your best vocal deliveries I guess and as usual a treat listening to Vic's music... Cool!

Thanks Yeman. I'm not 100% happy with my vocals on this, but heck, no one is paying us.
Thanks, friend.

This is great; the combination of Vic's guitar and your vocal delivery is potent! I like the lyrics and the singing is great - you perform this with real attitude and verve. The guitar works really well - blistering solo work and lovely sound throughout. A great collaboration - one of those marriage made in heaven kind of deals! Looking forward to more! Nicely done to both of you. Peace.

It's really like working with George Harrison to me. Really!

Originally I thought it would take me a few days to work this through on my end. But, once I got going I couldn't stop. The tune has a cool up beat feel that really got my motivation up.
So, a big thanks Dave, for letting me have some fun with this tune.
lavalamp
You managed to make a silk purse out of this sow's ear. Thanks a bunch, Vic. I really appreciate your help on this and your general support around here.

What a sound. I like everything about it. At times I hear the Undertones then the Beatles[the Lennon side].
Great song as well. Good work both of you- absolutely excellent.

Remarkable restraint on the drums - I wish I could hold back like that! Vic's guitars work really well with your vocals on this - a very cool rocker.
I can hear what Vic says about it growing on him, and being unable to leave it alone.
Solid post,
Neil
lavalamp
That's why I have to give Vic a lot of credit. I gave him a very wide open tune.
Thanks,
Dave

diggin' the swirly guitars (phaser?) in the verse. the whole mix is very clear and upfront, nice job. cool idea with the a capella ending and long reverb trail!
