Description
Hey, haven't put anything up for quite awhile, so heres something new.
This is one of the few songs I wrote lyrics for first, then put music to later. The acoustic guitar is sort of technically recorded in stereo, using a condenser mic to capture the treble along the 12th fret, while my camcorder records along the bridge with a separate microphone. Although the camcorder mic is really poor in quality and automatically compresses everything to a high degree, using 2 sources did help create some directional balance which is really hard to achieve in mono. I'm poor and don't have good equipment so thats what you get.
The composition for this song really should have been electric/acoustic, but since I only have an acoustic for now I had to make due. I debated adding piano and synth strings, but I think its adequate enough at this stage without them. Adding bass and some variety with the drums also leaves room for improvement. I'm no vocalist either, but at least I wasn't terrible enough to ruin the music; Its a demo after all.
This song is very inspired, I hope you take it to heart and enjoy it.
