Description:
I decided to take the vocals on this even though I have a flu. I composed this song last March 1992. It was originally intended to be in acoustic only but because I don't have a good acoustic guitar, I decided to make it electric. Drums and percussions are the only software instrument.

Verse 1
I can’t deny that I need love
I try to escape but it hurts me so bad
Don’t want to leave this lovely world
Don’t want to transcend, deeply obsessed

Verse 2
Oh , I don’t want to die
Just want to be happy I don’t want to cry
To live forever is what I want
I’m greatly hooked, I need your love

Chorus
This is not the reality
My brothers weep and they are part of me
This is one of the hardest task
When we are always called to swallow our pride

You may not know that I suffer a lot
My conscience is just hold be back
I’m force to believe that I am free
But I’m a slave of worldly things so brother please help me

I don’t think of you all I want is me
Hear my confession listen to me

There is nothing that really hurts but the truth that says we are one in this world

The intro to this is excellent, and you get a great sound from the bass and drums. I like the guitar - nice level of distortion without muddying up the whole thing - and some very nice playing. The vocal sounds a little unclear in my phones, not sure if this is a question of level or a vibe you were aiming for? Either way, a very cool song. Any chance of the lyrics? Nicely done. Peace.

Thanks for the candid comments dajama. Indeed, I'm always vocally challenged..hahaha (English is actually our 2nd language back in the Philippines). Yes, the vocals is indeed unclear for I have a flu. But for a change, singing with a flu in indeed an opportunity. Truly, Im hoping to improve my vocal mix (can't get rid the sshhh sounds yet). Moreover, I've just posted the lyrics to aid the muddy vocals.

Ok, the instrumental part of the mix is good. You play well, and the mix sounds good.

But the vocals are a problem. Very hard to hear in most of the song, and not entirely in tune.

At least for the first time, I heard somebody commenting that I've got a good mix (even though i don't have a good monitor yet). The vocals is always a challenge. Thanks for commenting.

I love your music. Keep at it. I love your voice singing especially
in English now I know it is not your first language, I love it more.
I am no way an expert on music. But I know that you can produce some nice sounding music too. Well done.
asconejar your pic makes me smile too. Hey what about singing one also in your native language too. That would be nice to hear also.

Thanks for the comments dee. Indeed, after I finished recording my previous compositions (I wrote 15 years ago, about 20 of them) I want to focus more on world/inspirational music. I will be writing music then in my own native tongue. Hoping that I still have the previous creative juice to make it distinct and interesting, hopefully.

I really like this song. For something that was supposed to just be acoustic it meshes EXTREMELY well for a rocker. It's got a great 60's pop vibe with an updated feel. Great job!

I really like this. Very accomplished. Good arrangement. Good playing. Very well constructed song. I think the mix could be ironed out in places and agree that the vocal could come up in the mix, but it's a pretty good job, overall. Well done!
