Git R Done!
This is fun stuff! The instrumentation is spot on, but then, if this is a Nashville demo, it would be, right? I really enjoyed the vocals as well. Great deliverance - er, I meant, delivery! ; )

The concept here is very clever and highly original. This would make a great novelty song, 'though for the most part, doesn't seem to be much of that going on in country music these days.

My only question was in the chorus: Funny songs are tough to write, no doubt, and the "hook" or punch line needs to realy deliver. That last line in the chorus about "our redneck shrine" .... I don't know what that's intended to mean (maybe it's just me, though)? Funny, funny, stuff until you get to that last line and then I'm left thinking, "Huh?"

So ... I wonder if anyone else feels that way about that line and, if they do, whether there might be a need to re-work that line? You've got a really, really unique, funny, and great song here. I'd hate to see one line fall flat and dampen the song.

But hey ... it could just be me.

Either way, this is really great stuff! I love it.

Couldnt agree more. That was one of two line's that my co-writers changed at the last minute. By the time i heard it, the demo was done. Hopefully we can all get together again and 'fix'rup'. Thanks again for the positive critique.

Great track
Good lyrics and a great vocal, with all the right instrumental parts showing up just at the right time.

Love the song for it's originality and for the fact it is very well played and recorded.

thanks for sharing this one,

Ed
