Description
My good friend Pete Hulne is an actor and comedian out in LA. One of my original "boys from the hood" back to kindergarten.
During the writer's strike while he was off-set from shooting sit coms he wanted to do a spoof on the whole writer's strike thing.
We decided to go with a Springsteen parody because Pete's a dead ringer for the Boss. Who else better than the Boss to tell people to "get back to work!"
Pete asked me to write and record the tune. This post is the original parody tune and recording I sent out Pete. He and his writers changed the lyrics because they are in the funny business and I am in the song business.
