Description
This is a song I wrote about a client of mine that I have a soft spot for. He's just a kid, and was kicked around by his stepfather for being gay. He ran away to hollywood and became addicted to meth and started selling his body to survive while he lived under the freeway. Last year he became an adult, and after getting busted a few times, he got sent to prison. I wrote the song because I just got a letter from him. He's really scared, and I feel for the kid. Shouldn't be in prison; he should be in a rehab. All of his crimes were against himself, and he is really sweet, honest and tragic. It's a shame really.
Anyways, this song is in the Elliot Smith/George Harrison pop vein that I constantly pillage. Hope you like.
