Description:
Although my 70’s band LIGHTSPAWN had broken up over a decade before, we were persuaded by the promoters of Live Aid to reunite for that event.
Unfortunately, the original master tapes of our performance that night suffered severe damage while in storage. Only our opening song and about half a minute of the second song have survived.
We opened our show with ENTROPY. I hope you enjoy this blast from the past!

Well maybe that’s true,
but “it’s all Greek to me...”
I can’t even step in once!
Well there may be “a time for everything,”

This is, indeed, about two years old I think. I drug the old files into LE7, eliminated the keyboards, re-did the rhythm guitars, added the audience and the vocal intro and outro and THEN began tweaking like crazy. I think this sounds WAYYYY better than the original "demo" did.

...on a bit of a roll a couple years back, and did some of my best writing then Jack. Problem was, I didn't know squat about recording and mixing!
This is the third in a series of major revamps I call, by way of alchemical metaphor, my "Lead To Gold" project. Many more to come...

i was in the crowd, but due to the huge mosh pit forming to the left of the stage, i had to go see EMS for a scalp bleed. i missed the performance, but dug hearing this song from the first aid tent.
i went to get a shirt, and they only had women's size medium, in a half shirt. so if you see me waxing my 300 zx in your half top, dont laugh.....

Love the drums on this, and that killer snare. The guitars are excellent, and your vocal is rich and expressive. A great performance.
