Description:
This was a somewhat spontaneous set of vocals I did over a song a few weeks back. Inspiration grabbed me and so I did it. Yes Im using all kinds of vocal effects. There is a male and female part here and I guess thats what the song is about... letting the normal role fade away so something else can come forth. This was a very empowering moment for me, I hope it shows through in the song.
I dont know what Im looking for other than listeners reactions to it. I wasnt going to put this up at all but a couple of friends said it was good enough for it , so let me know if they were right :)

Absolutely fantastically brilliant. Wonderful beats in this - deep and strong like a heartbeat. And erratic, too, as the emotions flow through. I love the in and out, blending of male/female voices. Very sexy and a little spooky. Awesome lyrics. Polished and perfected. Thank you! [ Reply to This ]

I dont know what to say other than you get it and got it perfectly. Just listening to this and noticed theres a hiccup near the end I need to fix though :( .

This is extremely cool! I love your tempo progression and the building intensity. The male and female voices dance around each other in a sort of ethereal way. Very strong musically, great production. Congrats on this! [ Reply to This ]

of the most creative pieces of music that I've heard. Has a tribal / meditative feel about it as well as being very musically effective. The effects on the vocals work extremely well and definitely fit the song.

Love it... we ARE a-Mused! This has your signature "droning" rhythmic feel... I really love the slow start that begins to quicken, dragging my heartbeat with it, very well-thought-out. The middle-eastern sounding scale in this piece gives it that sultry seductive feel, and your adulterated vox are really mesmerizing. Love the misty lyrics, with unifying reality peeking through... excellent work, and thank you for bravely sharing this gem!

... introspective piece with really fabulous attention to detail in the sounds, mix .. I agree whole-heartedly with Len .. this oozes creativity from orifices I didn't even know could ooze ..hmm .. that sounded better in me head .. :o)
Conceptually brilliant look at unhappiness of/in our mortal flesh... executed extremely well: very clever use of tempo changes (something you do very well)... and top notch production to my ears... not a nit in sight .. er .. earshot :o)
I feel like a voyeur to such nakedness :o) *runs off and hides*. If we're taking bets who is gonna be the first MJer to do a musical karma sutra ... ;o)
