A very enjoyable piece. I have two daughters who play violin and cello, and I could picture them playing this piece with their orchestra. I like the unexpected rhythms which pop up from time to time. Reminds me a lot of "Eleanor Rigby" from the Beatles.
It's nice to be able to perceive a driving beat with having a drum track to reinforce the point. You can do an awful lot with just a few voices, as you have so ably demonstrated here.
