Description:
I work out of my home....so during the school year when the kids are out and my wife is at work, I tend to get a little stir crazy from time to time.... This song is about how even though when everyone one is home there is a certain amount of chaos that ensues, still I miss that chaos when it's not here....Somehow I find a certain peace and resolve in the craziness my everyday family life....
all sounds were performed by yours truly..... and yes this is another track from the new SCW record "Fantastic" now available on iTunes, amazon.com and cdbaby.com....
peace....Ian
p.s. the pic is not mine....sorry.... I googled "autumn again" and that pic showed up on the first page....

Lyrics:
Awake the February morningI regret to say you can't stay home
Hold on to me out to the car now
I have already got it warm
Our rides are mostly filled with laughter
The drive always ends to soon
I want for you all to stay
There's too much silence all I hear is gray
I'll try not to get pancicked
But please try, please try to make it quick
Bring back cartoons, constant caper, paper loon
Speed up, afternoon, apple faces will be here soon
Does it seem like it's been ages?
Is it now some different day?
I recall, it was just last night
But when they are here is when I am right
Bring back cartoons, constant caper, paper loon
Speed up, afternoon, apple faces will be here soon
I must pull it together
God let me pull it together
There we go

since my last comment, I really enjoy your music. You truly push the envelope in everything you do. I am inspired every time I listen to a new one of yours. I will step out of my comfort zone one day and it will probably be something of yours that motivates me to do it. This place is lucky to have you. Thank you for sharing these outstanding tunes.

I pretty much like everything in this song. The recording, the guitar, drums, voice, lyrics, and the VIBE. The vibe is unique! I like that. You voice is AMAZING! Love it

This song starts sooo sparse and, gradually, you can sense a sort of chaotic energetic build up until it is released into a sort a controlled chaotic explosion. That's what it seems like to me. Awesome. Then the controlled chaos seems to wind down only to release again and again. Brilliant.
Great quality, very fine playing and singing. I like this track... your recording is EXCELLENT!

For some reason I read your bio/i dont go there often
Well written.
Your music should sell its self, for sure.
Great pro playing arranging and vox's.
I love the vocal arrangement my favorite part. Blending the harmonies and orQestrating your web/awesome
Superb overall sound.
Thats the most important thing, when all is said and done/the recording needs to have its own identity, and wow this is a real special blend.

I hear the influence of the Alan Parsons Project. You've got that same great layered sound in your vocal which I enjoyed so much from that group. Your delivery and production is polished, and very enjoyable.
I like these lyrics:
"Bring back cartoons, constant caper, paper loon
Speed up, afternoon, apple faces will be here soon"
Very Beatles, very Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds.
You're a major talent, Ian. It's great to have you here at MacJams. Best wishes to you.

Intorduction sounds like early Prefab Sprout. Wow...this is great. Love the chords and your voice. drummer is top notch. Like the low vox with the high end over. Nice production.
