Description:
This is a track i did a while back and put it to bed, but karmatoburn, Jon the Jam master, decided to add his magic touch to it so the song was resurrected. Jon, as you all know is a very talented musician and can really play and make thinks happen. I hope you enjoy. Please feel welcome to add or subtract as you wish, vox or whatever, you are very welcome. Thanx Jon for all your help and your fantastic passion for music.

road pies &mdash 07/05/08 - 09:41:46 AM
alien life travels across the galaxy, enduring years of hardship and turmoil, to finally reach earth, where they then land on US route 6, in Kansas. Upon stepping out of their organic intergalactic craft they are immediately crushed by a Baskin Robbins ice cream truck. Sorry, your photography & music always make my mind wander :-)

Steve, luv where you've taken this. I think there's a whole separate song to be made at the end part! Thanks for hangin with this, I think its great.

Also, I give up, what exactly are those little muffin like things sitting in the road?

Jelly fish &mdash 07/05/08 - 10:02:31 AM
you know i love and hate jelly fish. In Spain there where loads so i had to fish some out to photograph, i put them on a road, they look like little cars.... Once in Japan i went for a late night swim as it was a particularly humid evening, but there are no Japanese in the sea, because it is Urabon time there, which marks the Jelly fish time when they come in their thousands. As i went into the water i thought it was the cold, salty water prickling at my sunburn, but i carried on up to diving in, then i realised what i had done. later, we spent the night in a tent on the beech, being feasted on by the mosquitos just too ad to the pain. My body looked like i had gone ten rounds with madame wiplash. Urine is a great cure for jelly strings, there i will leave the story.

Jellyfish... &mdash 07/05/08 - 09:51:42 AM
..perhaps?

Another blinding tune. That's one hell of a bass sound again - and so sweet when the drums come in.

Great instrumental / dub track and primed for some vox. You two are working very well together and this is turning into an excellent partnership. Keep it going!

of you. yes indeed, karmatoburn is the dogs bollox every tune is a winner. He has just sent me another tune which is way out of my league, but i will be having a good go so keep your eyes peeled. How about your voice? 2 tracks begging... your vox sound pretty sweet to me.

played on my brothers graphite Bass. he lent it to me for 3 months so i laid down loads of tracks and put the rest to it later. This being one. it has an amazing range of sounds being active.

nice instrumental &mdash 07/07/08 - 04:22:15 PM
kinda reminds me of a mellow satriani tune (circa 'flying in a blue dream') minus a blistering solo. great production. cool.

smooth slickness &mdash 07/09/08 - 03:00:11 PM
man this one cooks. i wanted more, tho, and i guess that is a good thing, but i wanted a 15 minute jam on this one. your guitar work is very cool. it has the melodies of a vocalist, and the textures of some of the greats in the fusion/rock field.. gimme more...
