Lyrics

It’s been a long, long time
But we turn on the switch and start this all!

We were born in 1979
But we play the guitar like its 89
We want to go somewhere the notes hang in the air like snow
But it’s 4 am in the bottle that’s for sure

We live in the suburbs and we play rock and roll
It’s not unusual to spot us full of punk, angst and alcohol

You’ve been outside
That’s what you want
But it’s not quite right until you’ve lost your footing from sight

Vote for Pedro
Vote for Pedro

They said to vote for Pedro
But well you want to find some way out of here now…

You’ve got the world under control
You’ve for the world under control

spot on
I thought for a sec that you had actually samples Bono lyrics and strung them together in your own tune....LOL.. spot on rendition. Love the shoe gazing guitar and an meandering jam, great guitar tone, well done.

ok, wow
i hate to beat this to death, as it has been mentioned already, but are bono and the edge on macjams?? you definitely have that vibe going on.

you are all very talented! i know this is probably live off the floor or something (which is all the more impressive) but if you guys got a more bold/pro recording happening, you'd be well on your way. or you could make a killing as a U2 cover band.

oh, you're canadian! coolness! represent! i once wrote a song called 'vote for pedro'. don't know why i'm mentioning that? :)

nice to hear you
Great track. Probably one of my favorites. "We were born in 1979 but we play guitar like it's '89" - fantastic! Say hi to the boys for me. We're likely coming back to town for a visit again late August. We should hook it up!

U3
are pretty good at gettin that early U2 sound and this being impromptu rambling....i'm impressed! You play well ...I'd like to hear you being yourselves. listened to all the tracks you have posted here and it seems you're stuck in a u2 groove...cut loose and i'm sure you could be a good band. Top vibe here.
