Kassia, now with more Muse, Newer and New-Agey-er!
How fun... nice entry piece, and interesting update you two! The choir effect at the beginning was a leeettle bit synthy for my taste, but just as I was starting to think that, it faded and the whole string orchestra hit me upside the head! That was great! Loved the sitar, and wobbly bits. Quite inventive... a little nod to Enya there with the strings (good in my book.) Excellent artwork too.
This ought to be a fun space to watch (sits and gets out his popcorn.)

Was wondering what you'd make of this! Thought for sure the sitar or erhu would get to be a bit much for you :)
There are many ideas swooping in sooooo....You may want a rather large bag or sack if you will, of the popcorn.
We both adore you by the way :D

This is wonderful. I'm expecting great things from this new collab team, and I'm sure I won't be disappointed. Two great talents making a third. Isn't MJ lucky?
Foinix
Thank you so very much for your kind words and encouragement to us both (not just here but on the individual accounts as well). We feel that we're lucky and blessed by MJs (and people like you!), so the cycle is complete.

There was some consideration to doing a medium size panning about halfway through the song. Thought that maybe it would be too much efx for some ears though :) Glad you thought of the same and also glad you liked it so much!
Thanks for the comment, very appreciated ;)
edpdx
Very well put together, especially the piano and the synth voice.
Foinix
Happy to hear that you liked the arrangement so much. Nice to see a newer face too! Belated welcome to MJ :)

and the entire collab is a jaw-dropping piece of new age beauty.
Have downloaded it and await your next piece with glee.
All I can say is wow. wow wow wow.
and thanks for inadvertently introducing me to Kassia too. :)
Foinix
Back at you! ;D
Dont even know what to say to such a sweet comment. Ever seen a bird of fire blush? We go blue in the face instead of red :D
The erhu bits were iffy the whole time until we got the strings and choir wrapped around it. We dumped one part of where the erhu was a bit too strong even at a low volume. So thank you for that!
Very very glad you got turned on to the Kassia page! Super cool!
Thanks again for the lovely lovely comment :)

This arrangement is very fun to experience anew even though I'm familiar with the melody. The instruments and sounds chosen compliment each other perfectly.

Very cool use of textures, and a nice melody - looking forward to seeing where this relationship goes!

of this kind of collaborative genious please. I am truely energized by this new spin on Sit Down. The only complaint is that it's too short. More please.
