Description
I just hope this song brings a smile upon your face.

The original title was, "Over Yonder".

tiger and the morning glory
You've been putting together some really interesting, trippy stuff lately. Is that a fuzzy guitar (effects-wise, not ZZ Top wise)? Or is it a synth? Either way it pumped up the weird on this song, which is a very good thing. Great tune!

My two....
influences, you could say, are late 60's and punk. So, that may explain this kind of song.

Thanks Feter,

Coolness!
Love this. That piano is perfect, with that dramatic rolling riff that pushes the whole thing along nicely. The guitar in the background on the left has a terrific sound. But mostly what I like about this is your vocal - great strength and attitude. It reminds me of someone and I can't for the life of me think who it is! Aarrgh! Anyway, great track. Nicely done, my friend. Peace.

San Francisco meets Detroit
Great early psych proto punk sound here Dave - cross between the Stooges and Moby Grape - but all Lava. Love the sitar thread and the vocals are fantastic. Also like the minimalism - not enough of that these days IMHO.

That intro riff ..
.. can't remember the Stones' song it's from - I've always liked it. I like this for the complex things you've tried vocally (very Brian Wilson at times). This could have been a contender! Can I have one of the green pills next? ;)
Very psyched out post Dave. No suggestions - its a rough and ready track that works as is (in fact that's what I like about it).

No Stones
I was actually ripping of a song by McCartney, "1984". Do you know it. It's not that close to it. Just "borrowed" the idea. That's what rock is all about.

a lot of merit to this song
I like this song for the most part but I wonder about the vocal effects. I feel they are too intense and they sound to me like an attempt to hide some less than perfect pitches and vocal technique.

Love the piano driving the whole piece.

You caught me
Besides going for the trippy effect, I might have been hiding a bit. A singer, I am not. Don't know why they encourage me.

this one is cool.
it has a rough, underground vibe to it. i can personally feel it in my head.... almost a beatles thing going on after the first verse, and yet, it also has an 80's mod thing, at the same time. my only critical comment would be the vocal volume. it seemed a little too loud for the mix. my ears wanted more of the piano-style keys up front, and anchoring the song. instead, the vocals were the loudest thing in the mix, and they seemed to drown the keys. as always, ny humble opinion. i really liked the song as a whole, and wished it were longer, with some kind of 60's hendrix, or jeff beck era solo, complete with pyrotechincs... ha! great song, and thanks for posting

thing, it's the other. The vox is too low, is what I always hear. Now, it's too high. Oh well. I do thank you for your opinion. I tend to agree with you.
