Description
I don't really know how to describe this. I started out with a genre in mind, but things sort of got out of hand. I put it in the Cinematic Soundtrack genre, because these are my influences. At first I was going for a trailer music sounding piece but after adding the flute to add interest, it stopped sounding like that.

I'd like to know what people think of it!
Thanks for listening.

RE: Feter
I had a feeling there was a bit of a pop feel to this. Not at first what I was going for, but I'm happy with the way it turned out. Thanks for the compliments!

Hm-m-mm
Yeah I would say pop orchestral, although what the heck do I know. I am into film scoring and trailer music too. Although you probably would not get that impression from my page. I'd like to work with you on one of your short films if you are willing. I can do orchestral pop or rock or acoustic themes and audio production. This piece is really nice though. When I think of this genre though I tend to think of more thematic music, although I know that trailer music does not have to be related to the main theme (and is often written before the film score).
Thanks for sharing,
Stephen

Thanks for commenting!

I will keep you in mind for any future films I make.

As far as this piece goes, well, it's a bit bizarre, and it certainly isn't trailer music or film score; there are just hints of these genres within it.

I got a sense of battle.
Maybe like a war between right and wrong. Or, between Growth and decay. Sprawling lush landscapes flooded by a broken dam. Thanks

Good stuff!
I'm feeling lots of tension here; however, towards the end, the panflute brings out a gentler side as well.

I'm a student filmmaker and I love soundtracks and trailer music. I'm not experienced at composing at all, but I am learning, and would like to know what people think about what I've made so far. I'm currently a year and a half into piano lessons, ... [see more]
