Description
First off, could somebody tell me what genre this is?
I'd like to offer an explanation for what I've composed here, should anyone offer in return their attention to connect the dots. This little piece was nothing spectacular for me in the realm of technical accomplishments. The melody you hear is mostly repeated over and over in different colors (instruments). Those colors each belong to a different character in a Yu-Gi-Oh fan fiction I'm writing, Starborne Blades. I'm in the final stretch now. The song will be presented to my community of fellow writers on Pojo.com, in conjunction with my finale chapters.
II'll list the several pieces that come together.
• The accordion, belonging to the song's name-bearer, Lucius Auraleus Dai Grepher. He is the main antagonist – also the artist who knits souls together through his singing, written poetry and occasional tough love dealt to the story's tragic protagonist, Mystic Swordsman.
• The acoustic guitar, belonging to Hunter, the hero's dry and somber sidekick. Hunter's spirit is gradually slain throughout the progression of the story. However, after death, there can only be rebirth.
• The plucked strings, belonging to D.D., the hero's childhood friend. Through a psychic craft, her entire memory has been stripped away, leaving her a miserable shell that will cleave to any warmth and comfort offered to her. Lucius arrives on his white steed and is shortly declared D.D.'s "first friend."
• The church choir, belonging to Mystic Swordsman, the hero (a.k.a. The Unfaithful Martyr). Despite his efforts to save every soul trapped inside the colossal prison called Providence, he only leaves death and broken relationships in his wake. Will his faith in the god-figure, Shinato, be revived? And whose eyes will he look into for that revival? In the name of that very deity, he has played the martyr, saved no one, lost everyone and been broken. Lucius offers him a path to redemption. Will he take the rope?
• The ensemble. A rainbow of souls. The one to play martyr, the one to free his friends from Providence, will be the one to carry the weight of three thousand, seven hundred and eighty-eight vessels of memory, each swirling with a brew of brightest purity and blackest sin. To bear this weight is to offer one's life. Will life be returned?
• Finally, a tribute to the Ancile songs, which have played a significant role in my journey. You can find them in this playlist.
If your interest has been piqued and you'd like to test out an estimated 400-page allotment of amateur writing, please follow this link and check out Starborne Blades on Pojo.com. I always love a new person to share in my art.

But this song is our concern now, isn't it? Thank you in advance for any comments, questions or suggestions. I appreciate your time. Thanks for listening. I'm allowing downloads for this one, so take your copy and listen at leisure!

the Genre is 'Orchestral'. You seem to have put a lot of work into this and it shows. Very, very interesting background to it and I will follow your link to read more... so good luck with whatever you intend to do with it. Most enjoyable, regards M
