It sounded lonely at first, and then the rest of the instruments came in and sounds nice and full.

A meandering melody again with just a little hint of inspiration.

Great! &mdash 07/15/08 - 05:12:33 AM
I really liked it but it was just too short in my opinion

but it is really a great composition and i agree with Feter some reverb may do nicely in the composition

Overall i really nice piece just too short

I really liked this, and I agree with Niall that it could and should be lengthened. The ending I feel doesn't do it justice. I also agree some more reverb might be good to add some sound to the pauses. On my first listen I thought the flute solo in the middle felt a little lonely. Then again on my second listen it felt perfectly placed, so I guess it's just something you can think about. Really nice composition; I enjoyed it very much!

Over Time. &mdash 07/15/08 - 04:17:27 PM
Short but very, very sweet, as usual. Keeps the listener wanting more :)

Peace Dee.

Aren't keyboards wonderful? &mdash 07/15/08 - 11:47:07 PM
They can sound like anything these days.

I mean, that accompaniment, was that played in one go? It does not sound like the separate instruments that it should sound like.

Cool melody. You can do more with that.

pencil &mdash 07/16/08 - 04:05:06 AM
That's probably a byproduct of using the pencil tool - not much of a keyboard user, so everything is quantized to the hilt.

Hm. Gives me an idea. I can probably adjust this so it's actually *playable* on something. Maybe violin... and cello... and guitar... and recorders... *skeedaddles and grabs up all the instruments round the house* meh. not enough wind instruments.

thankies!

Reminds me of &mdash 07/19/08 - 12:41:41 AM
the music that is being produced for animated television shows now, not that I watch t.v. all that much, but what I do see, this had that kind of feel. I agree with others about the technical, as far as reverb and making more space with the instruments. As for the content itself, the notes and placement - it definitely works. And yes - it sounds like an excerpt - kind of short and ends abruptly - would like to hear more from this frame of mind!

Great theme &mdash 07/20/08 - 09:27:37 AM
Got something of the fanfare about it - if you redid this for just brass it would sound very regal. Main instrument sounds like a bassoon - and you can't go wrong with bassoon as far as I'm concerned!

You have a very large scope of talent! We appreciate your comment about us, and if I haven't said it before, if it wasn't for you giving me garage lessons and telling me about MacJams, I wouldn't be happily married....and in Sweden(!) right now....so thanks again for your good Karma :) Morning Light
