Description:
I was trying for a more simple sound this time instead of crazy guitar solos. This song is more experimental with a very industrial machine like feel. I was trying to get the feel of when you play the futuristic machine levels in Sonic the Hedgehog and the sound of an assembly line. Anyways feel free to comment and thanks for listening to my song! :D

I like your unusual style of making songs. The sound is not so simple as you've told. good contrast between the rhythms and the keyboardsounds!
i' don't rate, because there is a big discussion about that in the forum, makes me insecure. give you 10.

Thanks a lot! No problem with the rating. Actually rating doesn't really work since people will rate others high if others rate their's high so you don't get an honest vote -_-

Thanks. Yeah it's a little more complex but the guitars this time are pretty simple. The rhythm and beats with the machine atmosphere are more complex though to have that assembly lin factory feel :D

Thanks a lot! I wasn't sure how it'd play on the head phones but now since you tried it I know it works fine. Glad you enjoyed it :D
Great idea for a song. It's not really heavy metal, but close enough. I think there might be some clipping. I really like the voices mixed under the pulse. I rated your song. In keeping with my new rating policy (see recent threads), the grades look lower than usual. For reference, my favorite band King Crimson gets a 9.

Thanks. I thought you were listing some generic alternative band but Crimson King is pretty awesome after hearing some of their works. It sounds like progressive rock for sure.
The song I made here was working on a structured and engineered sound to make it very machine like. I had some guitars that were too fluid and I reworked the entire section of it. Simple sounding. This is the direct opposite from progressive though- hard to compare that.
If you like Crimson King and jazz fusion then you may enjoy Dream Theater's side project, the Liquid Tension Experiment.

I have to say this really sounds good on headphones. I like the fast paced sound. Would go great for a high speed car chase.

Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it! It took a while. Maybe this could fit in an action scene where the good guys are after the bad guys in a wearhouse or abandoned factory :D
I can tell when music is good and this is really good. Even though I am no expert either. I play live ambient Music mostly. Anyhow I won't vote just in case it gets a lower score like Deadmon I voted all 10z as was saying on chat and he ended up with a five. I am going to download it because I do like what you have got going on here too. Thanks.
Peace Dee.

Thank you for your kind words. It means a lot to me. I'd be curious to see how the voting turns out. It seems like someone was paying attention to our conversation. People have the right to their opinion. It can't be censored. If you want higher quality ones then make people write a 200 word paragraph on why. Ambient is awesome. Aphex Twin's first ambient collection album is wonderful :D

this plays well ... nice mix!
Kori Arashi
Thanks! :D
With lots of moving dynamics......
Well put together....
I like the picture you tried to paint...
Kori Arashi
Haha. I'm glad you enjoyed the piece and got the idea of it. The cover you see though isn't a painting. That was a real picture taken of gears from someone. I distorted it and changed much of it later adding an oil paint texture to it :)

Great, quite a gothic sound, you are right about solos, with a focus more on the rhythm, i feel more and more like that. This reminds me of the Sevendust sound. Thanks for the listen and great track. Peace.
