Description:
this was done around the same time as "Fading Out". I came up with the piano line first, and used the guitar as vocally as possible for the counter melody.

for the kind words, and advice. I think strings could fit nicely in this one, perhaps some subtle harmonies underneath building to a crescendo.

thanks for the appreciation. even though the likes of Satriani, Vai, etc... can be a bit over the top sometimes. they've always been a great influence on my style.

Great, great song... I like the chords... Together they sounds happy.... And you're playing a really cool guitar... Good work....

loved this one. excellent playing throughout. mix was a bit uneven, but overall, great song!
mix-wise, my thoughts were to take the whole thing, and make it as distant, or closer to the guitar solo, which has a far away, almost mideastern feel about it. the piano mix is good, dont get me wrong, but it does not feel like it is one piece of music to me. i mean this in the most respectful way, mind you. you are a fantastic player, and i look forward to more of your wonderful songs.

i see what you mean about the mix. i'm still on the learning curve as far as getting a mix right (but aren't we all when it comes down to it); so the dynamics were a concern. thanks for the appreciation of the performance, and the advice on the mix.
