I thought something happened to my internet connection!! I'm over here checking things on my laptop and cussing it out and stuff!! I barely got my headphones on real good after I hit play and then all of a sudden....nothing. 11-seconds....

Short
That was sort of the point. An intentionally poorly produced, decently performed shot in the dark. A protest of sorts against the notion that one must have everything polished to a pro level before posting here.

The fact that it's 11 seconds long seems apropos as well.

Sorry to draw you into my civil disobedience exercise. I promise the next one will be a more "complete" effort.

Nope!!
No apology necessary....No one should ever have to apologize about their art. This song was an outward expression and you expressed it outwardly for a good 11-secs. I'm just greedy.

I appreciate your civil disobedience too and I have been thinking about doing the same thing since reading some the MJ posts in recent weeks. Seems like the climate has changed with folks upset about voting and bombing and nice comments vs. critical comments and established MJers leaving the community and taking all their music with them and stuff....I feel like I need to make a disobedient post too...and I will. Been working on a tune and as soon as I get my lyrics right, I'm gonna post it. It won't be 11-secs though.....
