I can kind of her this as a theme for a cop show or something. Nice groove and some pretty cool change ups. Nice tuneage.

Thank you, Russ. I appreciate the appreciation. I've been a Gil Scott-Heron fan for a long time. This was kind of inspired by his Jazzy/R&B style. Funny that you hear it as a cop show theme. Not what I had in mind, but listening to it with that in mind, I can see it. Gritty. Cool. Sure, why not?

heavy on the bass is it keys? Sounds tight like the composition good arrangement of loops would have liked to hear more of a description but he Im guilty of not leaving much of one myself. Enjoyed!

Yeah, everything is midi on this one, except for that brief distorted drum solo. Basically, I start with Garage Band loops and then edit: slice, dice, move/add/delete notes, shift the pitch, add filters and... wala!
