Description
This is a new song of mine. I had a good friend of mine help me out with the drums.
It was a bit of an ambitious project that kept evolving and taking on its own shape. Mixing and performing was a challenge but hopefully the idea will come across correctly.
Thanks for listening.

***by the way the title is not a mistake or typo!

Lyrics
Careful with the coffee, it’s enough to keep you up awake.
And watch out for the drops that fall from trees.
I can see your lips moving, I know that face when you’re speaking
It’s a little embarrassing to me. To me.

This circus act is killing WE, there’s not that much that’s left in me,
I now can see the arrow pointing E.
Rejection is a lesson that is taught to young pubescents for acceptance to be embraced undyingly.

Can you feel this in your chest?
I like watching you undress.
Can you feel that I’m impressed?
You look smarter than the rest.

That which once belonged to me is mine and will remain that way if I decide so at any point in time.
Your time does not belong to you; it does to those who surround you so careful who you choose to join your side.
Your dying side.

Patience, passion, pleasure, pressure, worries, wants and woes and treasures,
Rollercoaster, spider-web and shrine;
Cotton-candy, cappuccino, pop-corn, pasta, Pellegrino wash it down with 2 glasses of wine. Of wine, whining and wine.

Can you feel this in your chest?
I like watching you undress.
Can you tell that I’m impressed?
You looked smarter than the rest.

The rest, the rest is impossible.
And this? This isn’t right.
This, this is mistake now.

This? This is impossible.
And this? This isn’t right.
This, this is mistake now.

well,
I absolutely love this. evokes early Nirvana and that's never a bad thing, but it goes beyond that into more current System of a Down territory and then something entirely unique and very, very cool - especially when it slows down then picks up again. I like the 'live in my room' mix and it suits the song well. I don't think I'd want to hear studio polish on this because it would take away from the whole raw, honest vibe of what you've done. Great lyrics, vocals, and an amazing song. Your best yet. Would've downloaded if I could've.

THanks!
Hey thanks a lot bro! I'm glad you liked it.
I put a lot of effort into this one! I struggled with the mix and with making everything understandable.
One of my buddies helped me do the drums on Reason and he did a sick job! I'm so terrible at drumming I even have a hard time programming them!
It would be loads of fun to play this live.
Any tips on mastering with garageband only? Or what program would you recommend? How's your album coming along?

tone.
cool room saturated distortion guitar tone! interesting writing too. like how it's softer in the middle. (like an ice cream sandwich... mmm... ice cream sandwich. :)

nice drum programming. your friend does good work. and solid vocals. nicely done!

You're right about the guitar sound
I wasn't really satisfied with any of the distortions or effects in GB so I edited one and added a medium sized room to the mix.
Ice cream sandwiches rock my socks off! specially the oreo ones...sick!

Thanks for your comment!

Wow!
I was not expected this at all.Edgy, raw and full of energy. Not my cup of tea musically, but it is obvious you spent some time and toil on this post, and with some excellent results.Very nice piece of work!

Blessings,

Thank you
I wanted to change things up a bit and I'm happy with the result.
I spent hours trying to do the drums through musical typing, this was useless. My friend came along with his fancy REASON and put together the rhythm I had intended in like 1 hour.
Thanks for you comment, it means that much more if the music isn't your choice. I really appreciate it.
Take care.

don't need coffee...
with the rush of this. the simple but cool riff in the verse really sets this up the intensity. The slower section was great and really added some diversity to the whole song. I really dig this! even the chaos at the end

Thanks Vic.
This all started out with a cup of coffee but I'm not much of a Java junkie at all.
I'm glad you enjoyed the song, I had lots of fun making it.
I hope my neighbors didn't mind when I was recording the "chaos at the end" at 2am haha.

Thanks for listening.
