Description

Here's a Jazz piece I arranged. It's in 5/4, and is a little messy at times, such is the problem with getting everyone to count to 5 at the same time. It was recorded live, and features flute performed by the mighty Colin Blakey (ex-waterboys), who really made the track for me. On bass is Jack Phillips, keys, Hayley (don't remember surname), and Matt on drums. I play the guitar.

	I like Paul Desmond It's weird how there are millions of songs in 4/4 time and they rarely sound like each other, but if you do 5/4, it immediately brings to mind the Dave Brubeck quartet. Cool track, though. Check out my latest song called Desert Stars

Overall a nice track
This is a nice piece and I love 5/4. It seems like the bass is just a little heavy and I would like to hear a little more variation in the guitar/keys.

5 is a difficult time sig to play in, and aside from a few little slips, you guys pulled it off. Nice guitar solo. I wish the keys would have comped some chords under the solos. I see now that this was recorded live, very cool.
