Description:
This was the first song I ever made about 3 years ago. I used Soundtrack Pro before the track corrupted. I was able to save out a rough mix though.
Lyrics:
You are not my leader
You are not my god
I will never bow to you
I wanna see you rot
Spit at all the ones in need
Laugh and poison their wells
I wanna see you bleed
Like the ones who fell
New World Disorder x3
Dark ages are here again
Torture, inquisition
No one gets out of here
The whole world's a prison
Abuse of power comes as no surprise
Behind religion you hide
Control the masses with hate and fear
Now our world's collide
New World Disorder x3
Hardware:
Marshall 100 watt amp
Shure 57 mic
BC Rich w Seymour Duncan Invader pickups
a black bass guitar
Software:
Soundtrack Pro

love this vibe, nice and powerful. Reminds me of Senser who are used to be a great band, making a similar noise. You have chosen the right subject matter for me too. Like the image is it yours? Great song looking forward to hearing some more, cheers mate. [ Reply to This ]

Always good to see another "southerner" here.
This is really good. A little outside my usual listening tastes, but very good indeed. It would be great to be able to read a bit more about who you are on your bio page, but no matter. This is a really good bit of production and the playing sounds positively pro.
You might get more listens if you change the genre - lots of people here will ignore "political" when they might happily listen to "metal" or "rock".
Cheers,

The style of music got the lyrics out without question. Vocals are killer. Great tune.

Great Composition &mdash 08/04/08 - 08:09:33 AM
Very nicely put together. Love how the vocals (both singing and talking) go so well with the song rhythm.
Well produced too!
Nice work - Thanks for the download!

Sweet! &mdash 08/04/08 - 01:23:34 PM
Sweet production. The bass is a little boomy during the verses but other than that this rocks. Great track. Thanks for sharing!

Great song and production. It is a brilliant piece. Jiguma is right, this powerful thought provoking piece of excellence might have gotten lost otherwise. I am a fan. I would really really like to hear that flawless vocal performance match the music though. It sounds tiny in comparison to the music. In my ear I want it to be fuller, on top and in front of the mix, rather than just in it. It is what really drives this song ultimately. [ Reply to This ]
so cool! &mdash 08/04/08 - 07:38:18 PM
i have the same kind of bass!
i am confused, though.... man versus media, yet a female lead vocalist....
great tune. heavy, meaningful, and almost reminiscent of early ministry. great tune, thanks to the forum on this one...

track - great rockin' and production. What lifts it above though is the fabulous vocal, great to hear a female singing on a track such as this. It REALLY works.
Cheers
