Description
Although I played most (if not all) of the guitar and bass, this idea was primarily Blake's. (I helped with the bridge and contributed some solo/lead line ideas.) Blake did a fantastic job drumming... practising only on air drums or in other bands he was singing in (until the drummer told him to get the hell of the kit. :) It required minimal tightening.
It turned out alright, I say at the risk of sounding immodest. The surprising part is, though, that Blake writes most of his stuff in his head. He routinely comes up with multi-part melodies while at work, or wherever. I don't know how he does it. He has a unique knack for arranging many parts and remembering them - without the aid of an instrument. I have trouble remembering a monophonic melody for more than 10 minutes.
Anyway, that's already too much sunshine pumped in his direction. :) Listen, enjoy, comment! Cheers!
