everything sounds great. this must have taken you forever to mix, is that you on vox? really liking this track. what did you record with?
shavingronaldscar
no, that's the esteemed Jedi Mind Tricks on vox. This is just my version of his track "Animal Rap"
EZamor
very creative! killer vocal recording, and excellent use of effects. at just over 7 minutes, though, this song felt a little long. it might have benefited from a some editing and/or some sort of harmonic accompaniment, etc.
shavingronaldscar
well, it's a club track, and therefore long and very beat-focused. otherwise I would agree!
EZamor
i can agree to a point--perhaps listening with headphones while sitting at a desk is not the most appropriate environment. but i can't help but feel that the song could benefit from editing (or a beat breakdown, synth solo, etc.). because the backing track is composed mostly of atonal effects and beats, it started to seem repetitive even though it actually has a lot of variety and is broken down into distinct parts.
but who knows. it's really though to say how most people will react. for example, i thought "born slippy" by underworld was far too long and repetitive. but there's an example of an almost 10 minute song (7 of which was just beats without vocals) that ended up being a pretty big hit...

yeah, man. like most club music, the whole thing with dubstep is just makin' that crunk that gets people movin' even though they might not really be listening, so if it changes up too much, they can't crunk to it and still get their drink on at the same time, if you know what I mean. that's kind of what puts me off a lot of club music, but now that I've started producing and performing it, I can see the beauty of it. most of my earlier tracks aren't repetitive at all.

This is crazy man and I love it cool club mix... I can feel the beer kicking in... Cheers, Buddy

Like that mix. I wanted to say that was kool g rap, but now I see you got JMT. Like the noise man it works surprisingly well.
shavingronaldscar
lol, yeah, I wish I could spit like that. hell, I wish I could spit like you man...

This is a pretty neat and unusual piece. What electronic genre is this under? The second half is enjoyable. Nice to hear something new. I'm not really sure for advice on this since you'd know this genre better than I do but again nice works here.
