My first attemt at making an instrumental song...

imho, you're one of the most enjoyable guitarists to listen to at MJ, and are one of the few who can perform really well on a wide range of instruments. Particularly notable here is the drum track - how did you do that?
A simple but warm tune which works without words - nice mix too.

but your guitar still sings. The mix is fabulous. The tone on that guitar is wicked. A nice jazzy feel with just the right amount of bite. Agree with Neil on the drums..very cool job

Glad you found the mix to be good. It's something I'm always concerned about - how it turns out on other equipment than mine.
I just replaced the pickups on this guitar from the stock ones to Gibson classic '57 and it opened up the sound a bit. It's now my favorite guitar:)

Very nice guitar work here. Very mellow, I would call it a soft rock sound. I like the way you develop the melody throughout. The piano and bass are well placed to add depth to the piece.

For starters the music bed and arrangement is fantastic. well thought out and mixed. The guitar itself is voiced perfectly. I like the right on the edge growl that goes from sweet to emotional.

I am feeling the warm summer breeze blowing all the way on the other side of the globe.
The chords are just blending real nice. The acoustic strumming is just so fine. The piano chops are just enough to bring out the changes and beautify them. Nice playing.

Strange that you say that... I made this just before I headed for Greece and one week with doing nothing but laying on the beach and enjoying warm lazy days and nights. Guess I had that in mind:)
And yes I got my self a new set of keys. Feels good having that option available on demand...
But I'm always glad to get some Tim magic. I bet we'll do more collabs:)
