good playing Really nice playing and the percussion is nice. It ends way too abruptly. There's a high pitched whining sound in the percussion track (sounds like a hard drive spinning when recorded by the internal mic) that sort of dominates the backing track and I can't say I enjoyed that aspect of the piece. It's a technical thing, but maybe when you're growing this piece, that's something you could address in future mixes. Maybe just EQ would fix that. First Jim,... thanks for the nice words on the playing. I always get that whirring sound when I record a video, this soundtrack was extracted from a video. As the piece grows I will record it with audio equiptment, and that should provide a quality track. Yes it does end abruptly, the computer which was filming me playing, was also playing the percussion, when I record it in audio, the percussion will be a separate track. Recording a video, though is like playing live, no dubbing in. In the audio I will do with garage band, I will be able to control where the percussion ends. Thanks again!!!
