As Dee1962z has said this is the artist known as Mystified. Cool blues with great lyrics. The vocals have some nice blues inflection but the classical training still comes through. Nice job on the guitar as well. Do I win anything. If so I guess I have to split it.

I was hesitant to post this ...well, because I know blues fans KNOW their blues!! (And I'm no blues singer!)
But when I sent the song to Feter and he said he really enjoyed listening to it, I suggested he go ahead and post it and see if anyone could guess the singer.
Yeah...I'm a classically-trained singer, but I love to paint different colors with my voice. So thanks, Feter, for letting me try out a different shade by posting the track in the first place!!

This is awesome!! I absolutely love this combination. Cat's had me hooked on her singing since I first heard her, but going bluesy was something I hadn't seen comimg. I have to say that when she cuts loose at the "played me for a fool" line, it was absolutely awesome.
I really really dig that acoustic guitar work too and I think it lays a tremendous foundation to just let them blues out of your soul like it's meant to be done. I can't hold a candle to it myself, but it made me think Lightnin' Hopkins might well have showed up to jam. Brilliant work folks. very very cool stuff!

This is by far my favorite song so far. It is so pure right down to the roots of where the blues originated. Very subtle guitar that fits perfectly. 100 % right on.
