Description:
Sammy was just a single sperm amongst billions ... but Sammy was a one in a million. His early life was one of constant tension. His neighbors would work themselves into a freny every time their bosses, The Hormones told them to. But Sammy remained cool and calm, knowing instinctively that his big day would come soon enough. When it happened it was overwhelming. He and his mates were swept away in a flash flood that was like a million New Orleans levies being breeched all at once. Sammy was thrust into a new, wondrous and strange world. His mates were swimming around in confusion, but Sammy KNEW exactly what to do and what direction to go. Even though he had never had a swimming lesson, Sammy swam like Michael Phelps in an Olympic pool. Others fell by the wayside while Sammy swam on seeming to gain strength as he progressed. Then all at once he knew his goal was near. He could not see her (it was dark after all) but he knew she was there and he knew her well. He swam with one last big thrust until he reached her side. As he touched her, she opened her arms and took him in.

I really don't know what to say... Ill start out with a "good job"...
It... um... portrays the concept well.

No, really, this is a good track. I couldnt even tell you were using loops until the end! That's how good they were mixed in and modified.
Vivid imagery.

Had fun putting this together and I am glad you stopped by for a listen. You'll notice that the song is about the same length as it takes for the average man to complete his "duty" LOL

Familiar, but
Out of practice. That is one of my two new twin grandchildren. I have two, much older ones (19 and 13), as well.
I just like the picture.

Go Sammy Go
Love the story line and it's amazing that through it all, I could almost see Sammy frantically swimming as though his life depended on it. I guess in a way it did, didn't it?

Great track Bill, thanks for showing it to us musically. I love the way you depicted the adventure in sound, very well done my friend.

Be well and be cool,

Ed

No worries
I am also listening quite a lot to my own music, so your stuff could hardly make it worse ;-)

I also think downloading is the highest degree of praise around here. The other things CAN be used for one's own good, to be seen etc, but downloading means you really want to be able to listen to the stuff again, and again. Take care. /H

This is a great example ..
.. of how to put stuff together. Very "creative" piece of work - and it sounds so good in the 'phones.

Congratulations!

Phones
that is the way to listen to most of my stuff 'cause I reallly do mix them to sound good on phones.

BTW if you listen on phones, does that make this song phone sex?

:)

"Sperm on the street" version?
Lots of good energy here. To my mind that last celestial note could expand and ripple and grow........

Thanks
You are right it could expand a bit more. I wanted it to morph from the brass to the synth sound to indicate that sammy was "taken into something new". Some ripple and growth would take that idea of the end of his journey being the beginning of something new ... but then maybe that would be a good idea for a new song. :)
