Description
Wrote this about a girl having a hard time making up her mind. While she didn't choose me immediately, she did come around thanks to this rattling around in her head.

Lyrics
Good at first glance,
Give me a chance to get close to you.
Might think that you know me now,
You’ve gotten just a clue.

While times been brief, I’ve given grief
Give you a hard time
I’ll hold my tongue, breathe in my lungs
Say everything’s all right.

I showed my cards
I’ve made my peace
Again I suffer through
Pulmonary sleeve

The past’s been told
What does the future hold? Is it him or him or me?
Is that too direct, like a train wreck, just wanted you to see.

Held at arms length
I need the strength to be patient and calm
I think you’re waiting for a storybook
You should be right here in my arms.

I showed my cards
I start to bleed
Again I suffer through
Pulmonary sleeve

What do have to do win over your heart?
Not just portion won’t settle for a part.
Is it a question,” Could he possible by true?”
I wish you’d take that risk, let me prove myself to you

I showed my cards
I start to bleed
Again I suffer through
Pulmonary sleeve

I showed my cards
I start to bleed
Again I suffer through
Pulmonary sleeve
