I've been having the worst lyrical block ever. Here's what I'm trying to convey: a sense of admiration and longing but from a distance, whether that be geographical or emotional, could be either, could be both. Maybe it's a way of saying that I'm running out of ways to try to say something you can't hear, but I still don't give up.
Or something.
I'm pretty much running out of ways to describe tunes that are acoustic guitar pieces but that I can't seem to come up with lyrics! Drums courtesy of Apple. Anyway, hope you dig it!

I know what you mean on lyrics... sometimes they come, sometimes they work, sometimes they don't.
I always suggest the following... You have an idea, try to carry on a conversation about that idea with an imaginary person. IE try to describe it to the air, imagine you are arguing your point. Sometimes the phrases you use will start to work towards the idea and eventually become lyrics.
I think the last line of your first paragraph is a great place to start: "I'm running out of ways to tell you what you can't hear".
That is a pretty meaningful line in itself and perhaps a great place to start!
