here is the video: select HQ!

it might be better to watch the video before reading the following:
started with a 12 minute video recording in low-light of stuff around the house, trying to be as obscure as possible about what the camera was pointed at.
in iMovie assembled a rough video edit of the more interesting pieces.
played the video and recorded in GarageBand a keyboard improvisation.
elaborated that into a sound track, changing the timing as needed to make musical sense.
imported the soundtrack into iMovie and re-edited the video to fit the music, including assigning some images to themes, and radically changing the order of the clips.

Listening first. Watching, next. Sounds mysterious, eerie. Love it.
Thanks for sharing.

the cat has left in the closet. LOVED it. Cats are not evil. They just want us to think so to keep us on our toes and off their tails.

I think the slowed drums work but I wonder what it would sound like if it were played with out the distortion. For some reason star trek comes to mind must be the high pitched voices. Some nice play on the strings. I will have to watch the video! I like how you have the piano from the start come back in in the end! very cool!

and psychedelic - and well done! As usual... Nice video as well. Very daring with all the blackness..., but it works well. Just the idea!
Thanks for sharing.

P.S. Nice cat!

that cat has a long tail!
thanks

Just watched the video on YouTube and this a perfect fir. Nice keyboard sounds, and the drums work very well, I think, communicating slight distortion and impending hazard. Riveting stuff. Nicely done. Peace.

amazing how you turn your own house into a trip in outer space. reminded me of that book "house of leaves" where a guy find an infinite space behind on of his walls. The music is spot on, and I like that you went for a lighter, poetical soundtrack instead of a dark-ambient one, reflecting more amazement than fear as how unfamiliar familiar things can be.

The red circular image with bright showing, like an eclipse effect, was my favorite part of the video, maybe for the visual relief it gave me. Best point of focus was the round greenish thing with spherical center, but still not discernible... Youtube didn't do the soundtrack justice as the download here - but was pretty good too.

is a truly wonderful piece of music, the build is just majestic. Second to none production. Fits the video wonderfully (although it's a bit stop/start at youtube at the moment).
Love this and downloaded. Thanks.
Cheers
