started with a 12 minute video recording in low-light of stuff around the house, trying to be as obscure as possible about what the camera was pointed at.
in iMovie assembled a rough video edit of the more interesting pieces.
played the video and recorded in GarageBand a keyboard improvisation.
elaborated that into a sound track, changing the timing as needed to make musical sense.
imported the soundtrack into iMovie and re-edited the video to fit the music, including assigning some images to themes, and radically changing the order of the clips.
