Very interesting &mdash 08/30/08 - 01:57:23 PM
Love all the layers esp the percussion and bass. Also the drum and bass style drums were a surprise esp since it works. Cool track as lots of things going on to keep you interested. Nice one

hella art rock! &mdash 08/30/08 - 02:40:19 PM
this is sounding really sick man, you have some ill processing on your guitar. great vibe, really hectic esoteric. man, we gotta work together some time!

Very cool &mdash 08/30/08 - 02:52:32 PM

.. like the edgyness the guitar added...distinctively you .. normally I'd be expecting a gritty bass part to fill that position from you but guitar does the job very well. Beats/percussion also excellent. I liked how it jumps up a notch to techno 'rave' speed and the blend of eastern instrumentation works very well. That constant sub-bass part got me thinking I left my mobile on my desk and it was vibrating :o).. but after a while I got into it's presence... so pay no heed.

Elegant mix and very creative blend, cleverly done all round.

I usually listen on speakers, but you got the nice headphone treatment. Sounds very cool, indeed. Love the background sounds especially.

Soundtrack.

wholly sprockets &mdash 08/30/08 - 04:58:54 PM
Someone wishes they could play guitar like that -- me! Deep, wide, thrashing, jungular, urban sprawl. Nice work. Wildly cinematic.

eastern energy &mdash 08/30/08 - 10:33:10 PM
it sounds of middle-eastern pink floyd portishead mixture. it provokes many thoughts, of far away. it is a beautiful aural painting. my mind is now full of color and energy. thank you. 0x0

Cool piece - I hear "cinematic soundtrack" in there. I bet someone grabs this and gives it a shake ;)

Sounds great on 'phones.

At the risk of being redundant ... &mdash 08/31/08 - 02:19:48 PM
I love that guitar sound. Those big open chords against the bass and the mess o' stuff going on in the background has an deep, ominous feel to it. Really nice.

Richard's word: &mdash 08/31/08 - 03:16:48 PM
Jungular, a jungle beat that goes directly for the jugular, perhaps?
Very engaging. Thanks.

Cool &mdash 08/31/08 - 03:43:20 PM
This has an alternately ominous and dreamy ambience. Love the guitar on this, and the keyboard sounds are spot on. There is definitely a kind of soundtrack vibe here for me, mixed with a kind of Jah Wobble freakout kind of groove. Love the percussion, and the overall arrangement and instrumentation is so well done. Outstanding. Man, you never disappoint. Nicely done. Peace.

This reminds &mdash 09/01/08 - 04:38:31 PM
me of the Santana build ups but more modern and further reaching. Sounds great.

Wonderful &mdash 09/07/08 - 03:19:22 PM
I think there should be "electro" somewhere in the genre.

This is great stuff. Lots of elements imaginatively layered, the whole thing grooves like crazy, and there's some great guitar soloing over it.

Top!
