I sure hope the predictions are wrong this time. If not,I hope the people are better looked after than when Katrina hit.

Still a terrific tune Fran.

Truly soulful
and full of feeling. This is a terrific song. I love the percussion throughout, and the bass is smooth and effective. Amazing guitar work and marvelous vocal; your voice is expressive and soulful. Very cool. Fingers crossed that this time will not be a repeat of three years ago. Nicely done. Kudos, my friend. Peace.

mercy
for starters cool intro. I dig the "room full of mirrors" guitar echo/delay.

great groove on the bass and true some funky guitar. and in some way the vocals remind me a bit of Dr. John, most fitting. very cool.

Is there anything you can't do well ziti
this is an amazing track my friend. Very cool bass line and the guitars howling like wounded warriors is just to cool. Love the feel of the vocal and the depth of the lyrics man.

Say a prayer for the Crescent City, hopefully they'll come through this one ok. A lot of the refugees are coming here to Arkansas just up the street from my house to Fort Chaffee. I hope we can find a way to ease their pain and make them more comfortable while they're here.

Be well and be cool my friend and thanks for posting this one.

Soundscaping
Hey, good to see you go beyond the singing guitar lines into more abstract territory. (Maybe I've missed some earlier tracks of yours, but this sound is new to me.) Ultimately it's still a song, but I like the infusion of pure soundscaping into it. It definitely contributes an extra element to the mood of this track.

Way cool.
