Description:
My original idea was to make a Michael 2 cover medley (that´s why I asked you lyrics for 4 songs inwhich they weren´t featured in their profiles, Michael).
Soon I realized this task is way beyond my skills so, there goes my kind of somatose interpretation of someday...
I like to imagine it as someone opening your eyes and (not completely awake)struggling to remember a song listened the night before while drunk, high or whatever.
I hope Michael doesn´t get mad or angry about this.
You can find the orignal version Here:
http://www.macjams.com/song/30208
Thanks for listening.
PS:The slight alteration of the 2nd verse lyrics was on purpose, to remove any possibility of singing along (That is the original´s main feature and I surely wouldn´t try to reproduce it)

Lyrics:
Provided by Michael 2, they are slightly altered/omited in my interpretation:you're like an angel to me
you're like a shooting star
like bits of chocolate in the sea
you're like a bird in a tree
i told you i'd see you in new york
i'm going there in the spring
i'd like to travel around
maybe with you
someday
i don't know what you saw in me that
one day
i can go and i'll find my fortune
one way
i can hope that i don't fuck up this time
what if i never had met you?
if i never took that job
what if i never talked to you?
i already lived with a girl
what if i never got fired?
what if i never got high?
what if i sent you a postcard
when i said i would?
someday
i don't know what you saw in me that
one day
i can go and i'll find my fortune
one way
i can hope that i don't fuck up this time
you're like an angel to me
like bits of chocolate in the sea
someday
i don't know what you saw in me that
one day
i can go and i'll find my fortune
one way
i can hope that i don't fuck up this time

yrp
I don´t remember...
yrp
kind of thing I was taking...

This is some wild stuff man. Hell of an interpretation. Tripping me out with the crazy delays. I'm liking it man.
yrp
glad the experiment worked for you.
This whole cover challenge is going to be great!

But somehow you seem to connect all the dots and make it work. Very trippy is what comes to mind, but also very cool. Love the lush sounds and the delay on the vocals.
Very cool man.
Ed
yrp
that you liked.Thanks :-)

Love this. It is way out there, but that's part of its appeal. It has a ghostly, dreamlike ambience in parts - makes me think of cLouddead in a way. The effect on the vocal is very cool, and I think works well on this. Nicely done. Peace.
yrp
i liked what they´ve done on their collaborations with Hood.I will have to check their own stuff. Thanks for the listening and for the tip.

Your comment is very much appreciated

this is intense, i absolutely love what you did to this. you took all of the pop structure away and turned it into something all your own. just awesome. i see you got guitar rig, sounds really good. this was a really subtle piece as well, i love how you mixed it. it always amazes me what you do with audacity; you should download Reaper one of these days and really get crazy. thanks man, I love this.
yrp
Yes, guitar rig has arrived and a basic fast track USB.My Strat is kind of trashed and I really need to repair it.But It still can make some noise.
I considered and downloaded and even bought other programs but I am too lazy to learn them all again.I will take note about reaper...
Thanks Michael!

I started to listen to this a few days then got interrupted.

the echoes on the vocals are great! you create a dreamlike, almost nightmarish mood with the guitar.
thanks
egobandit

that to me this must be what a person who hears voices would be hearing, all the time. How could you even think with all that going on? Fascinating stuff.
Thanks.
