A fairly close to finished version of this song.
I did the vocals quick today just to get them done, but I'll go back and make 'em better. As they are, they're a little poorly mixed and out of balance. lots of 'loud/quiet' parts... meh...

love when the singing get to the screaming point! Very interesting lyrics stands on its own as a great piece of poetry. Very tight and moving excellent!

this song sat around as an instrumental for months, as I toyed different lyrics for it. I finally scribbled these ones out earlier this summer and they stuck. I'm glad you like them.

that rocks. really into this. how you guys consistently get such an amazing recording is beyond me. your voice sounds awesome as always. and the riffs are really interesting. i can never do riffs, glad you're around.

I can't take too much credit for the sound lately. It's all logic studio and an M-Audio Fast Track. Basically idiot proof. Heh heh...

For what it's worth, I can't nail the downtempo, atmospheric shit with nearly the expertise you have. Every time I listen to something like that of your I am both totally impressed, and utterly jealous.

I've been looking forward to it. pretty well done vocals for just knocking them out. I like how you approached them. I'm sure when you get the balances to your liking this will be just that much more powerful.

I've been looking forward to hearing it with vocals too. We played it live a couple times this summer, but until the day I recorded this I didn't actually have concrete lyrics worked out, so this is basically the first time I sang it the way it is. I've been listening to it and critiquing and I think I have some good ideas for what to do with the vocals for it.. as well as just taking the time to mix them a little better.
