Description:
This is a farewell song that used to be painful for me some years ago, but this morning I woke up in the mood of facing it to play it again; and for the first time since I composed it, I really had fun playing it.
Yes, I know: some notes are offtempo, some are out of tune, or too loud... or too silent... but I think that's kinda my sound, not so much for a real feel or a no-loops alibi... I'm just too lazy to play the same line twice.
Enjoy,

macoco.

Hardware:
Main bass is a Squier Jazz Bass, and the fretless in the middle solo is a Squier Vintage modified Jazz Bass. Guitar is a Casio PG300, and keys were played in a Behringer controller using GB sounds.

Software:
Garage Band

when you say I dont want to play the same notes twice I feel that way all the time. Being a bass player myself I enjoyed this romp through an emotional chord extravaganza. Some cool drums by the way. Enjoyed especially the bridge some nice leading in there. you can hear the frettless just singing. VEry cool!

Enjoyed the bass parts &mdash 09/06/08 - 07:48:32 PM
There is some good melodic bass and guitar playing going on. But there are also passages that are just treading water. Pity.
