Description
This is a re-worked version of the first song that I recorded back in 06' called "Caught Dead in this..." It needed some work even before I posted it 2 years ago, but I added some real drums and new vox. I personally think it turned out much better. If you get a chance give it a listen and let me know what you think!

Lyrics
Warm and dry,
quiet like a funeral
please please try
to follow sounds of my voice
wait till I start over
seasons may have stripped away the time
but now I'm older
washed in blood and tears from your eyes
My sail has flown
gripping the wind
and I'm just a traveler...
caught dead in this sin.
I tell myself to hold on tight
anyday now I'm gonna be alright
am I a fool to wait for you
I keep pushing for you to pull me through
a little taste of love is a bitter pill
I can't make it without you
no I never will
warm and dry,
wait till I
warm and dry
please please try
My sail has flown
gripping the wind
and I'm just a traveler...
caught dead in this sin.
quiet like a funeral
please please try
to follow sounds of my voice
wait till I start over
seasons may have stripped away the time
but now I'm older
washed in blood and tears from your eyes
My sail has flown
gripping the wind
and I'm just a traveler...
caught dead in this sin.
I tell myself to hold on tight
anyday now I'm gonna be alright
am I a fool to wait for you
I keep pushing for you to pull me through
a little taste of love is a bitter pill
I can't make it without you
no I never will
warm and dry,
wait till I
warm and dry
please please try
My sail has flown
gripping the wind
and I'm just a traveler...
caught dead in this sin.

it kind of reminds me of ELO. I like the line "a little taste of love is a bitter pill" . Like a little taste is bad cause it makes you want more? It makes me think. I never heard the original, but this is top shelf. Vocals may be about .5 too low, but that is just my opinion, could be my monitors.
